  • The edition contains eight paraphrases from the Psalms followed by a two-strophe paraphrase from the Litany of the Saints and a translation of the Prayer of Manasseh. All of this content is treated here as a single devotional text.

    The language of the text suggests an area toward the center of the northern boundary of Gascon, perhaps near the Garonne.

  • Editor’s emendations have been incorporated with no special marking, with a few exceptions, which are noted in the text.

    Line numbers refer to position on the page, not the verse numbering given by the editor.
